Toronto International Film Festival Bows to Pressure to Screen "The Road Between Us"
Initially accepted and then rejected by the Toronto International Film Festival—allegedly due to the need for permission from Hamas to use footage—the film "The Road Between Us" was ultimately shown after mounting international pressure.
Now screening at The Jewish House in Copenhagen!
Don’t miss the powerful and emotional documentary "The Road Between Us."
On the morning of October 7, 2023, writer Amir Tibon was at home with his family in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, less than one kilometer from the Gaza border. His father, retired General Noam Tibon, was 85 kilometers away in Tel Aviv. As Hamas militants approached the kibbutz, Amir managed to contact his father. What followed is an extraordinary journey, as Noam set out to cross the warzone to rescue his family trapped in their home under heavy fire.
