POUL ROSENBAUM PRESENTS VIOLINIST ALANA HJORT​

The renowned Danish pianist Poul Rosenbaum, who has an impressive career behind him and is the director of the Copenhagen Summer Festival for young international music talents, once again presents a rising star at the cultural festival.​

At this concert, Poul Rosenbaum performs together with the young violin talent Alana Hjort.

Alana Hjort (b. 2007) studies violin at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with Frederik Øland and has already won several prices. She previously studied with Alexandre Zapolski and performs on a violin kindly loaned by the Augustinus Foundation.

Alana has been selected to participate in the highly prestigious Jacob Gade Talent Programme.

The concert features well-known classical works by composers such as Bach, Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Elgar, and Gershwin, as well as jazz pieces for violin.​
