During WW II, Albania was the only country in Europe to open its borders to Jews. Thousands of people were saved by crossing the border to Albania, whose population was mainly Muslim. Combined with archival material, the documentary by Israeli Yael Katzir, follows Annie Altaratz, who, with her daughter, travels back to Albania. Here she revisits the country and the people whose moral code saved her life during the war.
