After the Nazis took power, she and her family experienced increasingly severe restrictions, and at night, Jella secretly wrote poetry. In December 1937, the family came to Denmark. In 1998, Jella handed over the collection of poems to her grandson and asked him to put the poems to music. Soloist, mezzo-soprano Idil Alpsoy, accompanied by 4 musicians from the Royal Danish Orchestra.
