400 years of Jewish music in Denmark.
The great violinist Nikolai Znaider meets with his musical friends, Henrik Goldschmidt on oboe and Anders Singh on accordion to play together with the Jewish music which has been a part of Danish-Jewish life through 4 centuries.
With them is the mezzo-soprano Idil Alpsoy, who sings songs related to Jewish history and our cultural life.
The concert will be both heartfelt, improvising and dancing with elements from both classical Jewish music, klezmer and chazanut.
The musicians play both new and old and mix the repertoire with their own songs.
It will be a concert with both party, storytelling and reflection - and not least a celebration of 400 years of Jewish music in Denmark
